The Eugene Symphony Youth Ensemble, the Eugene Symphony Youth Chorus, the vocal recitals, the SHOcase performances, the fashion shows, and the productions and performances viewed on the website page of Sandra Brown Williams are all under the umbrella of the Regional Institute for the Teaching of Singing founded in 1999.
The creative venture and personal growth mentioned in the Mission Statement result in a variety of solo and group experiences. I strive to see that each student develops vocally, and I believe that every child has a voice within that is a gift that should be shared. Whether singing at a radio station at 6:00 a.m. in the morning, singing with the Eugene Symphony Orchestra, recording a CD as a present to a grandparent, performing on a voice recital, or assisting with a RITS project, the students will have an enjoyable experience and will grow both musically and personally.
